Scene Study with Janis Stevens

Sundays, January 7th - February 11th from 5:00-8:00pm

Janis Stevens leads a Scene Study class offering beginning and intermediate actors a chance to learn the basic tools of the Stanislavski System’s “Inner Technique” as well as experiencing what it means to “stretch” vocal and physical craft in creating a character. Participants will be paired as partners and offered a scene to work on throughout the 6 weeks that will allow them to exercise the “tools of the craft” that they are learning. No preparation is necessary before attending the first evening. Scenes will be provided. Bring a notebook, pen or pencil or your personal device for note-taking!
